House of NERC 2005 Event Report
A NERC event finally in a city with a population more that 200 people. This time HON squeezed into the tiny Clara Barton First Aid Squad in Edison, NJ...home to the very man responsible for powering the bots in these competitions.* All weight classes had there share of destructive bots. As a matter of fact, I think weaponed bots out numbered the bricks and wedges this time around.

*I don't know if that statement is true nor do i care to look it up to see if it is accurate...but you get the idea.

Al, for site logistics John W, for sitting behind a camera when he could be doing something else. Nar, for making trophies. Chuck, for making the coolest bot trophy. Andrew, for volunteering to judge. Dawn, for letting me bully her into judging. Anarchy Dude for being second-in-command. Your training is almost complete, young padawan. Anyone who ran out to get food for Ed. Without Beth there, he'd forget to eat unless someone threw him a fish or something.

Josh, Brian, Rob, Eric, Chuck, Dawn, Brian, Brian, The Petersons, Josh, and the rest of the crew that always comes through helping with setup and teardown. I am usually too spastic to remember everyone thats helping, so if I didn't thank you personally, thank you. Yanks for providing music and the reoccurring "unofficial" NERC song "The Final Countdown" Rob for his comedic commentary on Sunday EVERYONE who came out to this event, near and far. Without you guys our events would not be what they are!

We saw a lot of power being shown at this event. Not only were 12lbers hitting the roof, but beetles were as well!

Motorama Robot Conflict 2005 Event Report
Another event in the books. There were a lot of bots beating the snot out of each other, but only one can claim it beat them all. The infamous Nar Karts were on the scene for some underground competition and new Miss Motorama was crowned for everyone to drool over. Motorama is becoming a event where the most destructive bots are making their appearance. Keep 'em coming....
